Expectations for personal safety will include the following materials and routines.
Masks: students need to have a supply of masks with them, at least two, and two plastic baggies for new and used masks. Students will not be required to wear masks once they are in the classroom. However, they are to use masks in common areas shared with other classes: hallways, bathrooms.
Water: common sources of water, our fountain and sink, will not be available for use. It is important to send your child to school with at least two bottles of water or boxes of juice. We recommend at least two re-usable bottles of water.
Hand cleaning: Students must use sanitizers available in the hallways, outside of classrooms after entering the building: morning, recess, lunch. We also expect students to wash their hand on each bathroom trip. Personal hand sanitizers are recommended as long as they meet government guidelines on quality and effectiveness.
