Recently, MEQ Minister of Education, Mr. Jean François Roberge announced that all schools in the province have been allocated three days to be used for training and planning. In his announcement to school boards and schools, minister Roberge stated that the additional days were to be used to “facilitate the sharing of best practices, and to enable school teams to better plan for the months ahead.” It should be noted that this provincial amendment adds three training and planning days to the calendar of “all institutions offering preschool education, elementary education or secondary education, regardless of the alert zone where they are located.” Students will not attend school on these three days.
